Hotel Imperial - Turin

The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was outstanding, far superior to what you normally find in this kind of budget hotel. We got a great deal on Booked.net of 49 euros for 2 people including breakfast. If you can get this kind of deal, it's absolutely worth it. Also, it was wonderful to have a parking space right in front of the hotel.

Not the cleanest room I've been in, and the air conditioning didn't work very well. Also, we had asked for a "letto matrimoniale" as opposed to a "camere doppio" of 2 beds pushed together, but we still got the 2 beds pushed together, which is not ideal. The WiFi didn't work well, and the hotel was much further from the centre than we expected, based on reviews we had read.

The breakfast was ok, given the amount of money we paid in the hotel in the first place. We did not expect it to be better. Opposite the hotel, there is a carrefour express; which was convenient as the hotel was far from everything else so we managed to buy whatever food or drinks we needed and did not have trouble carrying the bags to the hotel.

I hated the hotel! It was terrible! The hotel staff was very rude to us. They refused to do room service saying that the room was untidy and they will only clean it when we leave!! They have not even cared to change the towels!!!.They barely spoke English and we had an extremely hard time communicating. The hotel is far from the metro station, unlike what is stated in its description. It is a very long walk away from the metro station especially when it is raining. The rooms were very small. The beds were very uncomfortable. The bathroom did not have any kind of ventilation whatsoever. There was no minibar in the room. Overall, it was a disaster.

The Imperial is a clean, well managed family hotel. Rooms are well appointed and the breakfast in the back garden is a treat. It isn't however, as the Booked.net description states 'a short walk from Porta Susa Station'. I would recommend catching the 59 or 29 bus from outside the station and getting off along the Via San Donata, near Via Bogetto, especially if you've got heavy luggage.

The Staff were helpful and courteous, friendly Family run Hotel Located about 1km from the centre. Would happily stay again when I return to Turin.

The staff were friendly and accomodating , the hotel was clean and tidy. Private parking was nearby (at extra cost). The bus and tram routes were within a few minuites walk.

our stay there was perfect.a clean room.good breakfast ,friendly staff.a lovely garden . made our stay there very welcome .for sure we will be going there again when Torino is our destination for a holiday

close to city sights and good value

The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was located in a peaceful area. Our room was spacious.

The hotel was a little worn. We didn't get the city map right away. The breakfast was quite sweet for our taste.

It was good value - parking was free and breakfast was included. hotel room was large and comfortable

The man in reception was not very pleasent and made me feel uncomfortable . He spoke no English

Despite lack of English the staff were fairly helpful. The shower worked.

Had to turned down the heating was like a furnace and it took a few hours to drop to sensible level. Bit tight on space to manoevre for a twin room. Breakfast was limited a nd not relenished after earlier people had scoffed the cheese and ham.

Too little TV

We were on tour with our band and drove in big van. Hotel stuff let us park our long and high van on their loading bay for our entire stay, which was very cool, we didnt have to worry about parking and our van stayed on safe spot.

Staff was friendly, made us cappuccino in early morning. Room was clean. Breakfast was good enough with eggs and all types of cakes.

Hotel is quite far from city center. Night staff didn’t speak English. Room was small (double room) and dark, no carpet. Room’s furniture was old. We booked 2 nights but stayed only 1 and were forced to pay penalty in %30. There was nothing about this in booking’s mail. Definitely would not stay again in this hotel.

Nice, quiet room and very good breakfast.

You are not given a key to get back into the hotel, so if guests come back during the night, you are woken up by the doorbell. Pity, because the hotel in itself is very nice.
